Zorak

Yaaaay~! My 600th deviation!

I think this is my best drawing/painting of Zorak so far. It still doesn't have whiskers, but I absolutely hate drawing whiskers. They mock me... 0_o

This will pretty much be how the comic portions of my story will be drawn; I'm not too fond of the look of cell shading, and full detail (fur and such) is a pain to do in every frame.


But... wow... Zorak is pretty boring-looking...
A lot of my wolf characters are solid colored. I'm trying to keep it believable, but if they're all realistically colored, you wouldn't be able to tell Zorak from Athena and Xani, and Lyna, Venus, Samdas, that old wolf I forgot the name of, and Comyd would all look the same. Even the gray-cream wolves would be hard to discern if they're related...
So... Zorak has slightly orange-y-er eyes, a few (all related) have pale green or blue eyes, and Athena was a lupine guinea pig in a perminant fur-dye test (that caused rashes and allergic reactions in most of the test subjects).


Everyone else looks pretty normal, though.


Except for the really big ones and the ones with the flightless wings.
