What do you call two smiling birds? Peregrines! :D
Said the man with the Great Horned Owl on his hand... XD

Last Sunday was Raptor Sunday at the Stillman Nature Center, where four owls, a hawk, and this falcoln were on display as education birds.
All of the birds are perminant residents do to injuries. This falcoln was shot in the wing and, although she has since recovered, can no longer bend her "wrist," making it impossible for her to steer in flight.

Peregrine Falcolns are most often found in large cities, where there are enough pigeons to feed an army of these guys. Plus, the ledges of skyscrapers are perfect replacements for the cliffs they normally lay their eggs on :)
