On our way back from MSU my family and I spotted a sign for a zoo. We had hoped to visit a zoo in Kalamazoo, but seeing as there's no zoo in Kalamazoo, we were up for trying out the Potter Park Zoo in Lansing.
It's not the most photo-friendly zoo, but their collection of animals is fantastic. I'll have to go back during the summer to see the binturongs

The zoo has two wolves; one is faded agouti and the other is black. One is male, the other is female. However, they never say who is who. Even the members of Flickr cannot agree.
Based on a few of the photos (summer coats & a few revealing shots) I'm going to say the animal you see before you is the male, Yukon.
And while I'm guessing things, I'll also make a guess that he is either
C. . lycaon or a general
C. l. soupus.
